DOGRUNNER CARE

Maintenance

Proper maintenance is essential to keep your DogRunner treadmill performing at its best for years to come. It also helps prevent unnecessary wear and ensures that your warranty remains valid.

A little regular care goes a long way. Follow these simple guidelines to keep your DogRunner in top condition.

01

Keep your DogRunner dry

Always place your DogRunner in a dry, non-humid environment. The room does not need to be heated, but a relatively stable temperature is recommended.

Ideally, your DogRunner should be kept at an ambient temperature between 10°C and 20°C.

02

Keep the area clean

Whenever possible, place your DogRunner in a clean, low-dust environment.

We understand that this isn't always possible, but excessive dust can enter the treadmill and affect its components over time, potentially shortening the lifespan of the machine.

03

Never store your DogRunner outdoors

DogRunner treadmills are designed for indoor use and storage only.

Do not store your treadmill outdoors, under a carport or beneath a covered terrace — even when using a protective cover. Rising moisture and condensation can damage the electronics, mechanical components and finish of your treadmill.

!

Damage caused by outdoor or damp storage conditions is not covered by the warranty.

04

Clean it after every training session

After each workout, quickly wipe down your DogRunner with a slightly damp cloth.

This keeps the treadmill looking its best and, more importantly, reduces the amount of dirt and dust that can make its way underneath the motor cover. Keeping this area clean helps protect important components such as the motor, drive belt and control board.

05

Check the lubrication every 30 hours

Approximately every 30 hours of use, check whether the running belt needs lubrication.

Slide your hand underneath the running belt and feel the running deck. It should feel slightly lubricated. If it feels completely dry, it's time to apply lubricant.

A dry running deck creates additional friction, forcing the motor to work harder and potentially shortening its lifespan. Proper lubrication also keeps the running belt flexible and helps prevent premature wear.

▶ Watch our lubrication tutorial to see how to lubricate your treadmill correctly.

Always use the correct treadmill lubricant. Our Lifetime Supply treadmill lubricant is available for €39.

06

Keep the running belt centred

Make sure the running belt remains properly centred.

If the belt moves too far to the left or right, it can rub against the side of the frame. Over time, this may cause the belt to fray or even tear.

You can easily adjust the belt at the rear of the treadmill using an Allen key. Not sure how? Watch our belt adjustment tutorial .

!

Important: Always adjust or tension the belt in quarter-turn increments. Over-tightening the belt can damage the rollers and bearings.
